The Governor of Anambra State, Mr Willie Obiano has reportedly promised to come to the aid of students and commercial vehicle operators who ply the Ifite-Amansea Road, a feeder road leading to popular UNIZIK “Permanent Site” Gate in Awka.

Students Groan Over State of UNIZIK Ifite Road.

IN ANAMBRA, Students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has decried the current state of the Ifite-Amansea Road, the Major Route leading to the Popular UNIZIK Back Gate "perm Site". The Students who expressed displeasure with the State Government over unkept promises has called on Governor Obiano to come to their aid, changing the status quo before the start of a new session.

UNIZIK Student Trying to Rape Female Student Caught at Female Hostel, Now in Coma.

IN Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, A final year Parasitology and Entomology student  was caught in the female Hostel (Block A) while allegedly trying to Rape an Inmate around 3am this morning. See Disturbing Photo below;

Students Escape Death as Multiple Accidents Rock Awka.

Miracle can best describe the outcome of a multiple accident yesterday in the heart of Awka, the capital city of Anambra State when a luxury bus crushed over 15 vehicles and pulled down many electric poles without any casualty. The accident which occurred along the Ziks Avenue Awka involved a luxury bus marked: HAL 276YG, and about 15 other vehicles including many tricycles. More details and Photos after the cut . . .

UNIZIK Graduates Theatre Arts Students in Grand Style (Epic Photos)

The Theatre and film studies department has, today graduated its finalists in style. The final year graduating students all appeared in colorful, epic "Primary school" uniforms for their final examination.   In an unexpected turn of events, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Wilie Obiano has reconciled with his Predecessor, Chief Peter Obi. It was the burial mass of Late Rev Fr Nicholas Tagbo held at the Assembly ground of the College where Mr Obiano and his predecessor, Obi (Former Anambra Governor now a member of PDP) were once students under the late Rev Father.

IMSU Final Year Student Shot Dead by Cultists.

Some suspected cult members have reported killed a final year student of the Imo State University, O’brien Ibekwe. Ibekwe was said to be a graduating law student doing his final clearance when he was shot dead at the varsity gate around 2pm on Tuesday. His corpse was reportedly dumped in a gutter. The Federal Government has announced the sacking of chief executives of 17 parastatals and agencies under the Ministry of Education. How to Calculate 2016 JAMB UTME Admission Points.

The JAMB point system is the new system in which Nigerian Universities and all tertiary institutions in the country would use to grant provisional admission to successful UTME candidates, after which they will then be invited for screening.

A new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) has been elected by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Senate. She is Dame Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi. Prof. Arinze-Umobi, a professor of Family Laws, was until her appointment the Director of Confucius Institute in the University.
